Welcome to the Booy Foundation!

Our foundation is an independent, non-commercial, non-profit organization that has been organizing accredited clinical orthodontic education since its founding in 1988. The foundation is managed by orthodontists who work for the foundation on a voluntary basis. Traditionally, our conferences are held at attractive locations, and good food and drinks are provided. The atmosphere is always friendly and informal.

There is currently no congress scheduled, as we have recently concluded the international orthodontic congress ORTHO-AMSTERDAM 2026. The congress was characterized by clinically oriented presentations of an exceptionally high standard. The congress dinners were also top-notch and held at remarkable venues. A magnificent piano recital was an unforgettable interlude during the conference dinner at the Royal Concertgebouw. Moreover, the small-scale conference offered participants ample opportunities for informal contact with top international speakers. Please browse the website for more information about this unique conference and the awarding of the Begg Prize 2026 to the Dutch orthodontist Sebastiaan Van Doornik.

We look back with great pleasure on a highly successful, high-caliber conference held at beautiful venues, featuring excellent food and drink.

The Booy Foundation is already actively brainstorming about the next clinically oriented orthodontic congress. As soon as a new conference is scheduled, it will be announced on this site.
