• HEINEKEN EXPERIENCE
The congress takes place at the top floor of the Heineken Experience, the former first Heineken brewery. The rooftop offers a magnificent panoramic view of Amsterdam.

The location is located in the heart of the city, close to the Museum Square with the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, and Stedelijk Museum. The historic brewery is also a very popular tourist attraction. Just behind the building are many terraces, cafés, and restaurants.

• EYE FILMMUSEUM
The welcome reception with walking dinner on Wednesday 24 June will take place in the iconic Eye Filmmuseum, a futuristic building on Amsterdam’s waterfront, the IJ. EYE Filmmuseum is the Dutch museum for film culture and heritage. It hosts screening rooms that showcase a wide variety of films and a huge exhibition space with changing exhibitions.

The spectacular venue offers a beautiful panoramic view of the IJ and Amsterdam. The striking, white museum building is located on the northern bank of the IJ, opposite Amsterdam Central Station.

Public transport
By train, tram, and metro to station ‘Amsterdam Central Station’. EYE Filmmuseum is directly opposite Amsterdam Central Station. When arriving at the station, follow the signs to the IJzijde exit. You will already see EYE across the river.
Take the ferry in the direction of Buiksloterweg (line F3). The 24/7 ferry service is free and leaves every few minutes. The ride to the other side takes less than three minutes. After arrival it is approximately a three-minute walk to EYE.

From Amsterdam-North, EYE is also accessible by bus. Take line 38 and get out at the stop ‘Buiksloterwegveer’.

Parking
EYE does not have a parking garage. The closest indoor parking right next to EYE is A’DAM Parking, below the adjacent A’DAM Tower. Use ‘EYE Filmmuseum’ as navigation address. Please note: the number of available parking spots is limited. Would you like to secure a parking spot? It is possible to book in advance at Parking Centrum Oosterdok and Parkeergarage IJDock. These parkings are on the other side of the IJ, near station Amsterdam Centraal, and approximately a 20-minute walk (including ferry).

• THE ROYAL CONCERTGEBOUW
The congress dinner on Thursday 25 June is in The Royal Concertgebouw, a unique monumental building, dating from 1888. In this magnificent building you can feel the history of classical music: Gustav Mahler conducted his compositions here, as did Richard Strauss and Igor Stravinsky. Sergei Rachmaninoff played his piano concertos in the concert hall. Musicians such as Leonard Bernstein, Vladimir Horowitz and Yehudi Menuhin gave legendary performances. But also famous pop artists performed in this classical music temple, such as Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and The Who. The hall is still a stage for the world’s best orchestras and musicians.
